Dinner and new apartment parties filled most of my summer evenings and I was continually perplexed about what to bring for hosts that had everything under control. A bottle of wine was always the default, but I felt I needed to dress the wine up, literally, so I put it in a cozy. I’ve made cozies for electronics and fruit so I figured, why not a wine bottle? These bottle bags are super easy to make and a great way to use up yarn left over from another project. Plus they’re a green (as in environmental, but I suppose you could make one in green) and reusable alternative to store bought paper wine bottle bags.
